Kick back and relax in WC Clapham ‘Wine & Charcuterie’ a 100 year old former public Water Closet underneath Clapham Common tube, serving an array of wines and cured meats in a low lighting setting. There’s an outdoor terrace with flamed heaters and sparkly lights where you can watch the hustle and bustle of the festive Christmas shoppers pass by. Nearby the Omnibus Theatre magically brings to life ‘Billy Goats Gruff’ this Christmas, an interactive festive family treat with Swedish carols, live music and beautifully crafted puppets.

Waterloo & Southbank

Check out Underground Film Club in the Vaults of Waterloo station set in an atmospheric labyrinth of Victorian chambers. Settle in on comfy theatre style seats and take in an old festive favourite on the big screen in this unique and intimate space.  London Southbank Centre Winter Festival  has turned it up a notch this year for with a new layout for the Christmas market including giant illuminated rabbits, a Christmas tree maze, a train and a pop up winter Rekorderlig cider lodge. The lodge has an upstairs viewing deck overlooking the Thames, warm up with some hot cider or hot toddy in your special souvenir mug.  Don’t miss Slavas Snow Show, this incredible show sees Royal Festival Hall filled with a heart-stopping blizzard of snow. Make a dedication for a loved one at the Macmillan Tree of Light. Part of Frostival  will see selected London Eye capsules transformed into frosty winter caves framed with ice-like sculptures, the pods will give guests a full 4D experience with scent technology producing smells of mint chocolate. There’s also Ice carving events at the ‘eye skate’ rink. Elves have been replaced with penguins at Sea Life London Aquarium Antarctic Grotto, meet Penguin Father Fishmas Between 15th and 28th December, in the Ice Adventure area, alongside the aquarium’s penguins as they swim beneath the water and waddle about in their icy home. Experience the Dungeon Christmas Lates wander through the plague-ridden alleys of the middle ages to the Victorian streets of Jack the Ripper, plus plenty edge of your seat surprises and two exciting thrill rides.

Vauxhall

Enjoy a festive drink at Brunswick House Cafe  followed by Ice Skate Vauxhall at the pleasure gardens where there’s another Christmas tree maze and street food festive craft market.

Elephant and Castle

Deep in the heart of Elephant and Castle there are fire pits, gas heaters and winter warmer hot cocktails, set in a ski lodge at The Paperworks.

Peckham

Experience wintery Joy at Forza Winter, sit down to five courses of Italian classics, created using all British ingredients combined with a hot cocktail bar. A communal pot of Fonduta will bubble away in the centre of the table, waiting to be poured onto each course, dipped in, or drunk straight from the bowl.

Dulwich

Bankside

A traditional German Christmas market reaches the Tate Modern  this year. Special illuminations will turn the former Bankside Power Station into a Christmas wonderland with a towering Christmas tree until Wednesday 24th December.

Tower Bridge

Holidays are coming! Coca Cola Christmas Truck Tour arrives on 20th December at Potters Fields Park from 12pm. A short stroll away the archways of Maltby St Market offer that warm Christmas cosy feeling with festive treats to enjoy and a range of locally sourced wines. This year Borough Market has over 1000 mistletoe bunches on display the Christmas lights are powered by Mistletoe Kisses.

Bermondsey
